Developer Plotrick revealed a new trailer for the stealth adventure title Rustown during the ID@XBOX Showcase on October 21, 2026. The game is scheduled for release on June 30, 2027, for PC and XBOX Series X|S platforms.
The narrative takes place five years after a pandemic caused by the Baka Virus. Those who suffered from cognitive decline as a result of the infection were excluded from society and established a slum known as Rustown.
Protagonist Jian travels to the slum after receiving a letter from his father, who had been missing for three years and was presumed dead. Players must navigate the environment using non-violent stealth mechanics and various tools to investigate the area.
By observing surroundings and connecting clues, players uncover the complex circumstances of the residents and the conflicts within the city. This process drives the story forward, allowing the protagonist to gain a deeper understanding of the world and the people living there.
