The Game Awards 2026 is scheduled to reveal its winners on December 11, Taiwan time. For this upcoming event, 4Gamers has received an official invitation to join the global media jury, which consists of nearly 160 gaming media outlets.
Organized and hosted by Geoff Keighley, the awards ceremony relies on a jury of international media members to nominate and vote for the most outstanding games released over the past year. Once nominations are finalized, the public is also invited to participate in the voting process to help determine the winners across various categories.
As a representative of the Taiwanese gaming industry, 4Gamers intends to utilize its perspective as both a media outlet and a community of players. The team plans to nominate titles that they consider the most engaging, entertaining, and exciting experiences from the year.
Beyond the awards themselves, the event serves as a major platform for industry announcements. The ceremony is widely regarded as a must-watch broadcast for fans, as it features the unveiling of numerous new game titles at the end of the year.
