Devolver Digital officially released version 1.0 of Mycopunk: Mushroom Busters on October 21, 2026, concluding its early access period. The game is available on PC for 1700 yen and PlayStation 5 for 1760 yen, with both prices including tax.
Players control a squad of dilapidated robots facing a fungal catastrophe on a distant planet. This online cooperative action FPS supports up to four players working together to prevent their own disposal by clearing out the encroaching mushroom threat.
The fungi have compromised planetary technology, requiring players to utilize character MOD upgrades to survive. Customization options allow for diverse playstyles, such as building support-focused healers or kamikaze units equipped with explosives to annihilate enemy swarms.
