Developer Panic Stations has officially unveiled Crack Surgeons, a chaotic surgery-themed game designed for cooperative play. The title supports up to four players working together to navigate the internal systems of patients.
Players assume the roles of miniaturized, unconventional doctors who must enter the bodies of patients abandoned by modern medicine. The gameplay involves treating bizarre ailments while navigating environments filled with infections, parasites, and an aggressive immune system.
The experience is characterized by frantic, slapstick scenarios where surgeons must manage hazards like exploding cysts, spraying blood, and flying flesh. To succeed, players utilize an array of unusual tools, including laser guns and machine guns, while attempting to avoid causing excessive damage to the patient.
While the developer has launched a Steam store page for the project, a specific release date for Crack Surgeons has not yet been determined.
