Developer STORYTACO has launched a demo for its upcoming live-action interactive thriller, No Men Allowed! Secret of the Beauty Apartment, on Steam. The game follows a male protagonist who becomes a security guard at an apartment complex exclusively for women, where he encounters various suspicious incidents while building relationships with the residents.
The title distinguishes itself from previous Korean FMV simulations by blending romance with suspense and thriller elements. Players must investigate hidden secrets and bizarre events within the apartment, with branching narratives determined by their choices throughout the game.
The production features a cross-national cast, marking the first time STORYTACO has employed a Chinese actor. Wang Han, known for her role in the popular Chinese title Beauty, Please Don't Influence My Studies, joins the project alongside Korean influencers WinterD, Kim Woo-hyun, Lee Yeon-woo, and Hye-ji. Jang Eun-bi, who gained popularity in the developer's previous work, will also make a special appearance.
The game incorporates a backstory where the protagonist returns home after living in China, providing a narrative bridge for the international collaboration. Following the release of the demo, the full version of the game is scheduled to launch in December of this year.
