Arc System Works Asia has officially released the Chinese version of the simulation RPG MAD RAT DEAD. The title is now available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam as of October 22.
The game features a unique RTA simulation style where players embrace evil acts to grow stronger. Core mechanics include the Exploitation System, which allows players to sacrifice their own minions during combat. By committing these acts, players accumulate Evil Points to develop their characters in a dark, strategic experience.
The narrative centers on reclaiming the power of the evil god Jimmung, who has been reduced to an infant, to defeat false gods. Additionally, a web comic titled MAD RAT DEAD Has Begun is currently being serialized on the publisher's social media platforms, detailing the encounter between a disgruntled programmer and the reaper Jimmung.
To celebrate the launch, a giveaway for an acrylic stand is running from October 22 to November 8, 2026. Participants must post a photo of their physical copy on Facebook with specific hashtags. Winners will be announced on November 11, 2026.
