Key information

Sega released the action RPG Stupid Never Dies on October 22, 2026, for PC and PlayStation 5. The standard edition is priced at 7,689 yen, while the Gorgeous Baka Edition costs 8,789 yen. The Steam version and the special edition are available exclusively as digital downloads.

Developed by GPTRACK50, a studio featuring staff from the Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma series, the game centers on a weak zombie named Davey. To revive his love, Julia, who froze to death, Davey must navigate dangerous dungeons using body-hacking mechanics and a style-eating system that allows him to steal enemy abilities and transform.

A live-action launch trailer titled Julia Never Dies was released alongside the game. It depicts the prequel story of Julia, a cheerleader and expert rifle shooter, explaining how she became trapped in an ice cream shop freezer. Additionally, an 80-track original soundtrack is being released across various music streaming platforms.

Players can try the First Bite Demo, which covers approximately the first two hours of gameplay. Save data from this trial version can be transferred to the full retail release.
