Edia has officially announced the upcoming release of Astraea no Zaika, a new crime suspense romance adventure game for the Nintendo Switch. Scheduled for release on March 25, 2027, this title serves as the inaugural project for MintLip+, a new brand under Edia's subsidiary, Team Entertainment.
The narrative follows a female protagonist who joins a specialized unit known as the Eleventh Information Investigation Room, or the Final Disposal Site. Tasked with investigating major national crimes that cannot be handled through official channels, the protagonist must navigate a web of mysteries and suspenseful romance. The game emphasizes a large-scale plot where various foreshadowed elements converge.
Development features character designs by Hachi Uehara and scenarios by Ren Mikado, with Ryoko Seki and Nui Aono contributing as sub-scenario writers. The production is led by producer and director Aika Kuboshima, while the theme song is performed by Rin Inaizumi, with music composed by myu.
Astraea no Zaika will be available in a standard edition for 8,580 yen and a special edition priced at 14,080 yen. The special edition includes a custom box, a voice drama CD, an original soundtrack download card, and a collection of setting materials and short stories.
