Publisher Ysbryd Games and developer Panstasz have officially released the 1.2 content update for World of Horror, titled As Below So Above, on PC platforms. This expansion is currently accessible through Steam, GOG, and itch.io.
The update expands the base game by 20%, introducing a variety of new content including enemies, mysteries, items, spells, curses, and injuries. Players can now utilize three additional characters, such as the tarotist Kiriko and the hiker Satoshi, while the new Scenario Mode provides self-contained stories that delve deeper into the game's lore.
Gameplay additions include two new Old God manifestations and the War for Shiokawa, which features four cults attempting to summon eldritch masters. Furthermore, the update provides modders with enhanced tools via the Steam Workshop to create and customize their own events, mysteries, and enemies.
While PC users can access the update immediately, console players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch must wait until 2027 for the free release. The base game is currently available for $19.99 and supports eight languages, including English, Japanese, and German.
