MapleStory has officially launched its annual Starry Night Circus event, which runs until December 1. Set in the Kerning City Rock Festival, the update introduces a new cross-server 1 vs. 4 asymmetric competitive mode called Yeti x Pink Bean, where five players are randomly assigned roles as either a hunter or one of four Yetis.
The event features a designer rank system spanning five tiers from Apprentice to Master. Players can earn rewards like character selection window themes and hair or face movement coupons. Reaching the Elite rank unlocks equipment transfer, while the Master rank provides the Schifferman Mystery Set Effect Converter, allowing players to flexibly switch set effects for greater customization.
Various mini-games are available, including the Octopus BBQ and Headbanging Champion challenges. Participants can obtain items like the Karma 250-level Star Force 25-star enhancement scroll from the Rock Music Festival Lucky Box. Additionally, the Mysterious Garden of Lucid event offers daily rewards through dice rolls, while the Burning: Lucid event allows players reaching level 260 to transform into the commander.
To prepare for the upcoming year-end OVERDRIVE update, the developer is initiating an OVERDRIVE countdown starting November 4. Players can complete missions to earn growth potions and stat bonuses to boost their combat power in anticipation of the next major content release.
