Independent developer Altus Ludus has unveiled its upcoming simulation game, The Witch Simulator. The title is currently scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2027.

Players assume the role of a witch living in a medieval village, tasked with gathering ingredients, hunting monsters, and brewing potions to assist local residents. The gameplay involves balancing these activities while avoiding detection by the Inquisition, which actively suppresses magic throughout the world.

The game features a reputation system where completing tasks and protecting the village helps players gain influence. Users can choose to conduct honest business or engage in deceptive practices. Additionally, the title supports both solo play and cooperative multiplayer for up to four people.

Survival requires constant vigilance against the Inquisition, whose members patrol the area and may force entry if suspicious activity is detected. Players can explore forests, caves, and mountains, utilizing tools like broomsticks to traverse the environment while working toward the ultimate goal of overthrowing the Grand Inquisitor.
