Key information

Developer Perfect Random has officially released the roguelike FPS SULFUR. The game concludes its Steam Early Access period, which began in October 2024, and simultaneously launches on consoles.

SULFUR features a cartoon-style aesthetic where players control a priest seeking revenge against a witch. The gameplay involves navigating procedurally generated dungeons, utilizing over 60 types of firearms, and managing hundreds of items. Players can customize weapons with various enchantments and attachments, while incorporating cooking and melee combat into their tactical approach.

The full release introduces significant content, including new regions, bosses, quests, and expanded weapon modification options. Technical improvements such as enemy knockback mechanics, general balance adjustments, and performance optimizations have also been implemented to refine the experience.

The title is currently available on PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch platforms. While a release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 is planned, these versions were not available at the time of writing. Future updates will include multiplayer support, additional content, and potential DLC.
