NetEase Games has officially announced a new PvE update for Marvel Rivals titled Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame. This upcoming mode allows up to 50 players to join a single match to cooperate against Thanos and his army.
The gameplay footage reveals a massive version of Thanos accompanied by his forces. The encounter features various combat phases, including aerial attacks from enemy warships, capturing iconic moments from the Avengers: Endgame film.
While fans have expressed significant enthusiasm for the mode, some users on social media have raised concerns regarding potential technical performance issues, specifically questioning how the game will handle frame rates with such a large player count.
As of June 21, the developer has not disclosed further specific details regarding the mode's mechanics. The Path to Doomsday update is currently scheduled for release on October 24, 2026.
