Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket will launch its new expansion, Dual Fusion, on October 29. Developed by The Pokemon Company, Creatures, and DeNA, this update coincides with the game's second anniversary and aims to enhance both card collection and battle accessibility.
The expansion introduces Dual-Type cards, which possess two types simultaneously, alongside Mega Evolution Pokemon such as Mega Mewtwo X ex, Mega Greninja ex, and Mega Dragonite ex. Additionally, popular creatures like Pikachu and Charizard will appear with new illustrations, while a special First Partner pack will feature starter Pokemon from all nine regions.
To improve battle accessibility, the update adds Rental Decks featuring powerful ex cards and an Elite Deck containing Mega Rayquaza ex. Players can also utilize the new Someone's Deck feature to view and copy popular deck lists from friends or other users, simplifying the deck-building process.
Further system enhancements include expanded deck limits, improved trading, and customizable private match rules. Following the October launch, the game will host various events in November, including the Dual Fusion Emblem event, and initiate the Rank Match Season C1 in December.
