Key information
Amazon is currently offering the Turtle Beach PlayTrek hard shell slim case for the Nintendo Switch 2 at a discounted price of $14.99. This deal represents a 20% reduction from the standard retail cost.
This officially licensed accessory features a rigid EVA shell designed to protect the console and Joy-Con controllers from minor impacts and scratches. The exterior includes a TPU coating to improve grip, while the interior contains a padded flap capable of storing up to fourteen game cards.
Reviewer Eric Song notes that the PlayTrek's slim design limits its storage capacity, preventing users from carrying additional accessories. While Song personally prefers the Tomtoc Slim case for its build quality and materials, he acknowledges that the Tomtoc option is $10 more expensive, representing a 40% price difference compared to the Turtle Beach model.
The PlayTrek case is currently available through Amazon. The price difference between this and alternative cases could potentially be applied toward future video game purchases during upcoming sales events like Black Friday.
