Jagex has published an FAQ to address community questions following the recent beta launch of the RuneScape in-game plugin hub. The developer aims to clarify how the system functions and provide insight into the surrounding operational processes.
To maintain quality control, the studio is releasing plugins in batches. Jagex has established a two-week moderation and release cycle, with the next collection of plugins scheduled to debut on November 5th.
The current development queue contains over 250 draft plugins and more than 200 awaiting moderation. Upcoming additions include tools such as a drop log, a perk calculator, an agility course helper, and a highlighter plugin.
Old School RuneScape is introducing hardcore worlds on November 4th. These servers feature increased unsafe activities and offer players the option to reset their character entirely upon death. Trading remains unrestricted, and there are no modifiers applied to loot or experience gains.
