Developer Ludogram has officially unveiled Heroes Never Die, a new fantasy strategy title described as a fusion of the survival genre and tactical gameplay. The project, which has been in development for a couple of years, is scheduled for a 2027 release on PC.
The game incorporates real-time army building alongside tactical decision-making. Players select from a roster of over 20 heroes to combat monster hordes and rival characters. The experience features four distinct factions and more than 60 unique units, with developers promising that each run will offer a different experience.
Core gameplay involves upgrading towns by gathering resources and engaging in combat. Creative director Edouard Gaudel expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming player interactions, noting that the team is eager to see users evolve their armies and encounter the game's various heroes.
Interested players can currently wishlist the title on Steam. Additionally, the developer has opened sign-ups for a private playtest to allow early access to the game's mechanics.
