The Pokémon GO Halloween 2026 Part 1 event is scheduled to run from October 27 at 10 to November 1 at 10. This seasonal celebration introduces three new costumed Pokémon to the game.
Players can encounter Pikachu wearing a hat and cape, Zubat wearing a top hat, and Sinistea wearing a ribbon for the first time. Each of these new variants has a chance to appear as a shiny Pokémon.
Wild encounters include the top-hat-wearing Zubat, alongside returning costumed Piplup and Drifblim, all of which may appear as shiny. Additionally, players can challenge one-star raids to obtain the costumed Pikachu and Sinistea, which are noted for being easily defeated by solo players.
The event features Halloween surprise boxes on the field that may grant encounters or rare candy. Furthermore, a free timed challenge offers six rare candies and a chance to encounter a shiny costumed Pikachu. Participants can also earn rewards by accumulating GO points through catching Pokémon and completing raids, with rank 10 providing double candy and rank 20 providing double stardust.
