A report from Knight Edge Media suggests that Irish actor Peter Claffey has been cast as Beast for the upcoming X-Men film. Claffey, recognized for his role in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, was reportedly selected over Charles Melton, who exited the process to pursue a part in the Naruto live-action project.
The production is also eyeing Renate Reinsve for the role of geneticist Moira MacTaggert. However, the actress previously expressed doubt regarding her suitability for a Marvel production, leaving her potential involvement uncertain.
The film features a significant ensemble cast, including Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, and Adam Driver as Mister Sinister. Other confirmed actors include Kit Connor, Samara Weaving, and Inde Navarrette, signaling a complete reset from previous Fox-produced iterations.
