Key information

Developer S-Game has announced updated storage requirements for the upcoming Unreal Engine 5 action RPG, Phantom Blade Zero. While the final installation size is 145 GB, players must reserve at least 300 GB of free SSD space to accommodate the decompression phase during the pre-load process.

The studio specifies that an SSD is mandatory for gameplay. Additionally, users are advised to update their graphics drivers before the official launch on October 28, with pre-loading scheduled to begin on October 26.

Minimum hardware requirements for 1080p at 30 fps include an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7 8700K processor, paired with either an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660. These settings assume upscaling is active and ray tracing is disabled.

For 1440p resolution at 60 fps, the recommended hardware shifts to an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5 10600K, alongside an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. Specific graphical and upscaling settings for these targets remain unconfirmed by the developer.
