Insomniac Games has equipped the PlayStation 5 title Marvel’s Wolverine with an extensive photo mode, building upon the features seen in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. This tool allows players to capture detailed images of the game's environments and characters, offering control over lighting, character poses, and camera angles.
The mode includes five independent lights that can be adjusted for color, intensity, and type, such as sphere or spotlight settings. Players can also utilize character pose menus to adjust Logan’s expressions, suits, and positioning, or even shrink him into a miniature size using the Action Figure mode. Additionally, users can modify game speed via DualSense wireless controller shortcuts to capture precise action moments.
While the toolset is robust, users should note that the five lights are centered on Logan’s position when the mode is activated; moving the character requires re-adjusting the lighting. Furthermore, while characters can be moved freely, they may overlap or clip into objects, though these instances can often be managed through creative camera angling or used intentionally for artistic effect.
Marvel’s Wolverine is currently available on PlayStation 5. The standard edition is priced at 8,980 yen, while the deluxe edition is 9,980 yen. The game is rated CERO Z for ages 18 and up.
