Arrowhead Studios is celebrating the third annual Liberty Day in Helldivers 2, a recurring event honoring the principles of Managed Democracy. On October 26, players can participate in various festivities, including in-game ship decorations and community-focused activities.
The event introduces the AR-23L1 Liberator Legacy, a weapon inspired by the First Galactic War. Players who have logged in between September 26, 2026, and the end of the event will receive this item at 23:59 CET on October 26, 2026. Additionally, Super Destroyers will feature temporary decorations for 24 hours.
Community engagement includes Discord-exclusive minigames like Minidiver and Flag Raising. The High Command has also released a Party Planning Protocol, providing players with resources such as recipes and printable Helldiver helmets to host their own regulated celebrations.
Players can unlock special merchandise by completing specific in-game objectives before February 28, 2027. Requirements include reaching level 100 for a Commander pin and completing 75 missions for a Private Teddy Snuggles plush. Helldivers 2 is available via PlayStation Plus Extra or purchase on the PlayStation Store for PS5, requiring an internet connection.
