At the DREAMSCAPE#5 exhibition held on October 24, 2026, at the Tokyo International Forum, Inonaka Games presented a unique title titled "There Are No Bugs!". The game tasks players with acting as a debugger for a broken action game where all original programmers have resigned just one day before the scheduled release.
Players must navigate through stages filled with glitches that prevent progress. Using an in-game edit mode, they must place a limited number of objects to bypass these issues. The core mechanic involves adjusting levels to avoid triggering bugs, such as modifying terrain to remove the need for jumping if that action causes a crash.
As players advance, the number of bugs increases, requiring more complex solutions. The game allows users to attach notes to an in-game monitor to track suspected bug triggers, aiding in the trial-and-error process. Developer Shikigaeru noted that the game is being created for the "Kami-Game Creator Evolution" contest, with current efforts focused on refining stage design to ensure players clearly recognize specific bugs.
The game's premise of "faking" fixes rather than resolving them has been received positively by event attendees. While future release plans remain unconfirmed due to the project's contest-focused nature, developer Shikigaeru expressed a hope to release the title in some form from 2027 onwards.
