Key information
Shochiku Games has officially released the magic crafting adventure game REKA, developed by Emberstorm Entertainment. This version 1.0 update introduces full Japanese language support for the title, which is available on PC via Steam.
Players assume the role of an apprentice to the witch Baba Yaga, traveling through a 19th-century European-inspired world alongside a giant, chicken-legged walking house. The gameplay involves exploring forests, learning alchemy, and gathering resources to customize the mobile home with various architectural parts and furniture.
The game offers moral flexibility, allowing players to choose whether to assist villagers with tasks like healing animals or to influence outcomes through darker means, such as poisoning food. Players can also craft potions to communicate with animals and invite creatures like rabbits or chickens to live in their home.
Following its September 12, 2024 early access launch, the game earned a Very Positive status on Steam with approximately 3100 reviews. The version 1.0 update concludes the story and adds achievement support. It is currently available at a 35 percent discount for 1495 yen until November 7.
