Arrowhead Studios is celebrating Liberty Day 2186, the third annual in-game event for Helldivers 2. On October 26, players will find their Super Destroyer ships decorated with banners, rugs, and party supplies for a 24-hour period.
Active-duty Helldivers who have played since September 26, 2026, are eligible to receive the AR-23L Liberator Legacy rifle. This weapon, modeled after gear from the First Galactic War, will be distributed at the conclusion of the celebration on October 26, 2026, at 23:59 CET.
Community activities include in-game minigames such as Minidivers, Adopt-a-SEAF, and the Mandatory Salute. While some activities are available to all, specific minigames like Minidivers, Oath of Enlistment, and Raise the Flag are restricted to members of the official Discord server. Additionally, celebration privileges vary by citizen class, with Class B citizens limited to a one-hour mandatory break.
Players can also unlock special merchandise by completing in-game achievements before February 28, 2027. For instance, reaching Level 100 earns the 'Hell Commander' title and access to a pin, while completing 75 missions allows for the purchase of a Private Teddy Snuggles Plush. Helldivers 2 is currently available via the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog or the PlayStation Store.
