StoryTaco has officially launched a Steam store page for its upcoming interactive FMV game, What the K-Drama?!. Developed in collaboration with film distributor Showbox, the project aims to deliver a cinematic experience that blends traditional K-drama storytelling with player-driven interactivity.
The game features a diverse cast including actors Lee Yu-bi, Pyo Young-seo, Lee Song-kyung, and Yoo So-young, alongside influencers Pyo Eun-ji and Angelina Danilova. Players assume the role of a hidden heir to a conglomerate family, navigating a narrative filled with inheritance disputes, family secrets, and betrayal.
Drawing inspiration from the dramatic tropes of the makjang genre, the gameplay centers on high-stakes romance and conflict. Players must make critical choices that influence character relationships and determine the ultimate fate of the protagonist within the unfolding story.
StoryTaco emphasizes that the partnership with Showbox was intended to elevate production quality and enhance the dramatic impact of the performances. A playable demo for the title is scheduled for release this December.
