Key information

Webzen has officially unveiled a teaser for its upcoming title, Defense Game Tyrant: Last Stage, which is based on the popular Naver Webtoon. The company announced the project on the 26th and launched an official YouTube channel, targeting a release in 2027.

The game utilizes Unreal Engine 5 to render 3D graphics that capture the dark atmosphere of the original source material. Developers have incorporated diorama pixel art for characters, which were crafted by hand. The gameplay loop preserves the webtoon's narrative structure, focusing on exploration, defense battles, and territory management.

Mechanically, the title emphasizes party composition and tactical operations. Players must utilize strategic placement based on character roles like tanks and dealers, while also engaging in direct command elements to navigate the defense-oriented combat system.

Webzen will showcase a playable demo at the G-Star 2026 B2C hall, starting November 19. To celebrate the channel launch, the company is hosting an event beginning on the 27th, where participants can win G-Star 2026 tickets by following and interacting with their official X account.
