The restaurant management simulation game Animal Town Diner Story launched in Steam Early Access on October 26. The title is currently priced at 1260 yen, reflecting a 40% discount from its standard price of 2100 yen, which will remain in effect for two weeks following the release.
Developed by ArtDock and published by Dreland Enterprises, the game blends restaurant operations with slow-life activities. Players can manage their kitchen solo or collaborate with up to four players online to handle cooking, food preparation, and customer service. Beyond the kitchen, the game features farming, fishing, forest exploration, and leisure activities like visiting the arcade or relaxing in hot springs.
The game world features dynamic weather, seasonal changes, and a day-night cycle. Players can customize their character's appearance and decorate their home, restaurant, and garden using various styles ranging from traditional tatami-based designs to modern industrial aesthetics.
ArtDock, a Moldova-based studio established in 2022, previously developed the title SOS OPS!. The studio intends to continue updating Animal Town Diner Story throughout the Early Access period by adding new content, performing optimizations, and incorporating feedback from the community to foster shared player experiences.
