Publisher Dreland Enterprises and developer ArtDock released the restaurant management simulation game Animal Restaurant Story into early access on October 26. The title is available on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S, supporting both solo play and online cooperative play for up to four players.
Players manage a restaurant in a town of anthropomorphic animals, handling tasks like sourcing ingredients at the market, purchasing kitchen equipment, and preparing dishes according to recipes. Efficient service is required to maintain high ratings, as customers may leave if kept waiting too long. Cooperation and role division are essential during multiplayer sessions.
Outside of business hours, players can engage in slow-life activities such as farming, fishing, socializing with NPCs, or relaxing in hot springs. The game also features home customization and quest-based progression to expand the restaurant. Players have the freedom to choose their operating hours, including taking full days off.
The current early access version includes the core game loop, with full release expected in approximately 6 months to 1 year. ArtDock plans to expand character progression, customization options, and gameplay depth. The Steam version is priced at 2100 yen, with a 40% discount available for two weeks following the launch.
