Dreland Enterprises has officially launched the PC version of the restaurant management simulation game Animal Town Restaurant Story into Steam Early Access. Developed by ArtDock, the studio behind the cooperative action title SOS OPS!, the game invites players to transform a small eatery into a thriving business within a seaside town inhabited by animals.

The gameplay involves managing kitchen layouts, designing menus, and serving customers. Players can experience the simulation solo or via online cooperative play for up to four people. In multiplayer, participants must coordinate tasks such as cooking, chopping ingredients, serving patrons, and operating the cash register to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.

Beyond the kitchen, the game features a variety of outdoor activities including farming, fishing, and forest exploration. Players can cultivate crops, sail to catch fish, ride bicycles around town, or visit the arcade. The environment includes dynamic weather, seasonal changes, and a day-night cycle, alongside opportunities to interact with residents, visit hot springs, or feed seagulls.

Customization options allow players to modify character appearances and outfits, as well as decorate their homes, gardens, and restaurants with various furniture. The game is currently priced at 2100 yen, with a 40 percent discount available for the first two weeks, bringing the cost to 1260 yen. The developers intend to incorporate player feedback while adding new content and optimizations throughout the early access period.
