On October 26, 2026, Kuro Games launched Wuwa Tappo, a free desktop mascot application themed around the game Wuthering Waves. Officially licensed by Irox Games, the developers of Bongo Cat, this software features characters from Wuthering Waves that animate by tapping on a desk in response to user keyboard and mouse inputs.
The application includes extensive collection mechanics, offering over 200 characters, 100 accessories, and 500 emotes. Users can obtain these items by opening boxes, which are generated after 30 minutes of active usage and require 1,000 input actions to claim. The system supports up to two uncollected boxes at once, and item rarity ranges from Common at 90% to Epic at 0.01%.
Beyond individual customization, Wuwa Tappo supports multiplayer sessions for up to 20 people, allowing friends to share their desktop experiences. Players start with a basic set of items, including the male and female Rover characters, and can redeem the code WuwaTappo in the settings menu to receive the Yangyang Classic character.
The software is available for free, though users should note the specific hardware requirements for performance. The application requires a processor equivalent to at least a 6th generation Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5, with some configurations suggesting a 10th generation Intel Core i5 or equivalent for optimal operation.
