Key information

KADOKAWA has announced the upcoming release of "Lost Property Control Agency Board Game: Room After Room," scheduled for February 18, 2027. Priced at 4,510 yen, this tabletop experience is designed for one to four players.

The game is based on the world of the art book "Lost Property Control Agency" by illustrator Hoshi, which originally depicted a fictional game. The board game adaptation is designed by Masato Uesugi, known for his work on titles such as "Volkals," "Paper Tales," and "Dungeon of Mandom VIII."

Players explore a randomly generated dungeon to defeat a final boss. Gameplay involves managing experience and equipment gained from encounters with "lost items." A core mechanic requires players to make strategic choices with every dice roll, deciding whether to risk exploring deeper for high-reward encounters or to secure advantages in safer rooms.

KADOKAWA is also offering acrylic stands featuring characters Nanashi, Rei Shiraishi, Hinori Inugami, and Nico, which can serve as game pieces. These are available for pre-order until November 18, with various sets including the board game itself.
