Developer Katarienai Mono has announced the upcoming release of Usotsuki Camera, a deduction puzzle game arriving on Steam on November 5, 2026. The title will be priced at 580 yen including tax.

In this game, players assume the role of an applicant undergoing an aptitude test for a surveillance position. The core objective involves identifying inconsistencies within provided security footage to uncover hidden lies.

Each puzzle presents four distinct surveillance recordings of the same event. While three videos depict consistent information, one contains a contradiction. Players must compare these clips to pinpoint the deceptive camera. The game includes 18 total records set across six locations, such as factories and floodgates.

To assist in the investigation, users can pause, rewind, and advance the footage frame by frame. There are no time limits, allowing players to deliberate on their findings at their own pace.
