Key information

Bandai Namco is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 with a series of updates scheduled for late October. These additions arrive as players continue to anticipate the release of the upcoming third installment in the fighting game series.

The content rollout begins October 27 with login bonuses, new costumes, and updates for the Future Saga Chapter 4 DLC. On October 30, the "Final Festival of Universes" event launches, allowing players to increase camaraderie levels with specific characters like Trunks or Fu to unlock illustrations. Participants can also earn 25 times the standard amount of Star Coins to acquire rare items.

IGN previously awarded the base game a 7.5/10 score, describing it as an ambitious but rough-edged title that features surprisingly deep brawling and RPG mechanics.

The updates are available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. While Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 was re-revealed earlier this year, producer Masayuki Hirano recently confirmed a delay, pushing the expected launch into next year to ensure the quality of the final experience.
