Behaviour Interactive and publisher Level Infinite have unveiled Exterminauts, a new third-person online cooperative shooter coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is set in a distant future where corporations compete for resources on the planet Tian, which is inhabited by dangerous aliens.
Players join a team of up to three to act as exterminators hired by a corporation. Beyond eliminating alien threats attracted to the valuable Polymorphic Plasma resource, teams must complete tasks such as repairing facilities and recovering assets to earn rewards.
Combat features unique weaponry modified from industrial machinery and power tools, including shotguns, rifles, freezing cannons, and acid foam sprayers. Players can also utilize an Overdrive system to significantly boost weapon performance during encounters with enemies that adapt their tactics.
A PC beta test is scheduled from November 13 to November 19, Japan Standard Time. Interested participants can apply via the Steam store page. Selected players will receive access and the ability to pre-download the game starting November 11, Japan Standard Time.
