Chomsky Games has officially announced its upcoming first-person narrative horror title, Moonlit Vigil. The game is currently scheduled for a full release on the Steam platform during the first quarter of 2027.
In this title, players assume the role of a new cemetery caretaker. As they perform their routine duties, they encounter increasingly bizarre phenomena that transform their initial shift into a nightmare, utilizing a blend of exploration, environmental puzzles, and jump scares.
The developer has utilized PBR assets alongside Unity's HDRP pipeline to construct a realistic and atmospheric setting. The experience is designed to be concise, with an estimated total playtime ranging between 90 and 120 minutes.
Prospective players can currently add the game to their Steam wishlist. Additionally, a free demo version is slated for release in November 2026, providing an early look at the project before its official launch the following year.
