On October 26, a commemorative video was released for the action-adventure game Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis to celebrate the series' 30th anniversary. This footage was previously shown at the TR30 event in Derby on October 24 and at MCM Comic Con in London between October 23 and 25.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a reimagining of the original 1996 title. The game is scheduled for release on February 13, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
Players control Lara Croft as she searches for the Scion artifact across locations like Peru, Greece, and Egypt. Gameplay features include grappling hook mechanics, puzzle-solving, dual-pistol combat, and new crafting elements not present in the original version. Media previews in June also showcased encounters with dinosaurs like Velociraptors and Tyrannosaurus in jungle ruins.
The new teaser depicts exploration, combat against beasts, and a scene where Lara Croft's body transforms into gold. Additionally, a lo-fi collection video featuring remixed series music was released to mark the anniversary.
