Insomniac Games has introduced a comprehensive Photo Mode for Marvel's Wolverine, allowing players to capture high-quality images of the game's detailed environments and characters. Building on the foundation established in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, this feature provides extensive creative control over lighting, character posing, and camera angles.

The mode features a robust lighting system with five independent, customizable light sources. Players can choose between spherical or spotlight types to simulate various atmospheric effects, such as neon arcade lighting or subtle candle shadows. Additionally, the interface includes options for filters, character expressions, and a miniature mode that shrinks Logan into a figure.

Users can manipulate Logan’s position and pose within a specific radius, even allowing for creative use of clipping. While the developer notes that models may overlap or clip through objects, these instances can be used artistically to mimic comic book covers or cinematic posters. Players can also adjust game speed via DualSense shortcuts to capture precise action sequences.

To access these tools, players can use the chapter select menu at Logan’s cabin to revisit locations like the Canadian wilderness or Madripoor. The developer suggests experimenting with different costumes, as each material reacts uniquely to the virtual lighting setup, further enhancing the visual storytelling potential of each shot.
