Sega has officially released the action RPG Stupid Never Dies on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. To mark the launch, the developer released a live-action trailer titled Julia Never Dies, which explores the prequel story of the game's heroine, Julia.
Developed by GPTRACK50, a studio led by Hiroyuki Kobayashi featuring veterans from the Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma series, the game focuses on a weak zombie named David. Players must navigate dangerous dungeons by utilizing body modification to embed equipment and style devouring to consume enemies and gain new abilities to revive the frozen Julia.
The live-action trailer reveals Julia's background as a cheerleader with exceptional rifle skills, detailing how she ended up frozen in an ice cream shop freezer. This footage bridges the gap between her past and the main game narrative.
Alongside the game, an 80-track original soundtrack has been released across platforms like Apple Music and Spotify. Players can also continue their progress from the First Bite Demo, which covers the first two hours of gameplay, into the full version.
