Developer BULKHEAD released Season 2 for the Early Access shooter WARDOGS on October 15, 2026. The update introduces four new weapons, three vehicle types, and a rain weather preset to the tactical 100-player game. The title, which has reportedly sold over three million copies, is available on PC via Steam for 39,99 €.
The arsenal expands with the TCX-SPR assault rifle, M14 sniper rifle, PP-19 Bizon SMG, and Evo-3 Ultra LMG. New vehicles include the T-72B3 main battle tank, the Flakpanzer Gepard anti-air unit, and the Wolf-110 light vehicle. Additionally, players can now utilize three new Forward Operating Base constructions: the Wooden Step, M2 Browning redoubt, and Large Shelter.
Significant balance adjustments include reducing base damage for heavy calibers, such as a 25% decrease for .308 Winchester and 16% for .50 Cal. Armor damage reduction for levels 3 and 4 has also been lowered. Furthermore, the XP requirement to reach level 20 was reduced by 55%, though the studio reportedly later labeled a previous XP increase as a mistake.
New server rules restrict team switching when a team leads by over 10 points and introduce a 15-minute cooldown for rejoining. A vote-based system for team kills is now active, and players with high ping face potential removal. BULKHEAD warns that exploiting unintended errors may result in permanent bans without warning.
