Bethesda recently celebrated Fallout Day by announcing significant milestones and upcoming content for Fallout 76. The multiplayer RPG has officially reached a player count of 25 million, marking a notable achievement for the title.

The major World Pets update is scheduled for release on Tuesday, December 1st. This patch allows players to deploy pets like cats, dogs, radhogs, or domesticated deathclaws from their C.A.M.P. into the open world, utilizing a new command wheel for issuing orders.

While combat strength remains equal across all pet types, each offers unique passive benefits. A progression system will allow users to level their companions to unlock additional passive buffs, increased carrying capacity, and cosmetic items such as armor, bandanas, and collars.

Beyond pets, the update introduces improvements to the Skyline Valley region, including terrain and lighting enhancements, alongside a new bounty board system. Additionally, the You Are S.P.E.C.I.A.L. season will launch, offering various Vault Tec-themed cosmetics and items.
