CD Projekt RED has officially characterized Project Hadar as the studio's largest project to date. This new intellectual property, which has been in development since 2021, is described as being even more expansive than the upcoming The Witcher 4 or the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.
While specific details remain limited, the developer has confirmed that the title will feature an emotional open-world experience consistent with the studio's previous work. The team dedicated to this project has been steadily expanding over the last few years to support its development.
The project is currently in the pre-production phase. Although full development has not yet commenced, the studio has recently established a coherent vision for the game's world and its core elements, marking progress from its earlier conceptual stage.
