Aspyr and publisher Saber Interactive have officially announced a remastered version of the 2004 title Shrek 2: The Game. Following a leak on the Xbox Store, the project is confirmed for release on November 10, 2026. The game will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and the Switch 2.
The remaster aims to modernize the original experience with improved graphics, including enhanced textures and 4K resolution support. The updated interface will be accompanied by new features such as a Photo mode and a Cheat mode. Additionally, the game will retain its cooperative gameplay, supporting up to four players in both local and online modes.
