Nearly 23 years after the release of the GameCube racing title F-Zero GX, a secret method has been discovered to unlock exclusive content. Modder BTEST4HE identified a hidden code sequence that allows players to access special items previously thought to be restricted to Japanese promotional events.
The newly discovered cheat enables the acquisition of 15 golden parts, which can be used to construct five unique golden vehicles. Previously, these items were only obtainable by attending specific in-person events in Japan while carrying a GameCube memory card to interface with the F-Zero AX arcade version.
Executing the unlock requires precise coordination, as the code must be entered simultaneously across four different controllers within a 10-frame window. While these rewards were once believed to be accessible only through third-party devices like Action Replay, the discovered sequence functions natively within all versions of the game.
