Key information
Bahamut officially launched its 30th-anniversary gathering today at the Taipei Expo Dome. Although the first day was canceled due to Typhoon Kong-rey, the event was extended until 21:00 to provide a complete experience for attendees. Founder sega opened the festivities, welcoming players to the celebration.
The event features an RPG-themed layout titled "Those Heroes Who Summoned Bahamut," incorporating floating islands and magic circles. A "30th Anniversary Time Corridor" allows visitors to review major milestones since the site's 1996 inception, while an interactive map invites users to place stickers representing their chosen race and registration year.
Four original members—sega, linger, Xiao Pan, and Yu Wan—gathered on stage to cut a commemorative cake. They expressed gratitude for the community's long-term support, with sega hoping for the platform's longevity and Xiao Pan wishing for continued access to animation services. The veterans encouraged attendees to maintain their passion for ACG.
Participants holding a program can engage in "Hero Trials" at various booths to earn stamps and raffle tickets for stage prizes. Dedicated facilities for Cosplayers, including changing and storage areas, are provided to enhance the experience. The event remains open for fans to enjoy the remaining scheduled activities.
