Key information
The Bahamut 30th Anniversary gathering officially commenced today at the Taipei Expo Park Expo Dome. As part of the milestone celebration, the event features the return of the ACG Music Festival, showcasing a variety of performances centered on animation, comic, and game music.
While the Saturday schedule was impacted by a typhoon, resulting in the cancellation of performances by -Akatsuki-, Minashinjatta, and Flying Ice Cream, the second day of the event proceeded with an expanded lineup. Five groups are scheduled to perform, including Brazil Kiss, No Code Baby, Neon Hops, Coca-Koala, and a special addition, Sanso Ningen.
The performers bring diverse musical styles to the stage. Groups like Brazil Kiss focus on jazz and Bossa Nova arrangements, while others like No Code Baby, a veteran band formed in 2011, emphasize nostalgic J-POP and energetic performances. The lineup also includes acoustic acts like Neon Hops and bands such as Coca-Koala, which covers J-ROCK and 80s City pop.
These artists aim to interpret three decades of gaming and animation memories through their music. The performances are designed to evoke nostalgia and celebrate the enduring passion of the ACG community as Bahamut marks its 30th year.
