Amazon is currently offering the ASUS ZenScreen 15.6-inch USB Portable Monitor (MB16AHV) for $99, reflecting a $50 discount. This portable display is marketed for its slim profile, weighing 2 pounds and measuring under 0.5 inches in thickness.
The device features a 1080p IPS display with a 60Hz refresh rate and an anti-glare matte surface. It includes a built-in kickstand and a 1/4-inch threaded hole for mounting. The housing is treated with an ionic silver coating intended to inhibit 99.9% of bacteria.
Connectivity is provided via two USB Type-C ports and one mini HDMI port. While a single USB Type-C cable can handle both video and power for compatible devices, others may require a two-cable setup using a separate power source.
The monitor is compatible with devices like the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. Users must utilize a two-cable configuration for these handhelds, connecting one cable for video and another to a wall charger for power. The 1080p 60Hz panel is noted as a balanced option for these gaming systems.
