In Final Fantasy Resonance, players encounter various Chimeras across different continents. Early in the game, players may notice a large rock formation in the desert west of the Grandshelt kingdom, but the Chimera Titan remains inaccessible until chapter 4.
To unlock Titan, players must first visit the capital of Zoldaad and interact with the city's bulletin board to learn about the reopening of the Grandshelt Colosseum. Completing all battles in the Novice League rewards the player with the Gaia Hammer, a powerful weapon required to break the desert rock.
Once the rock is broken, players face a level 30 Titan. The Chimera is vulnerable to Wind-type attacks. Recommended units for this encounter include Zidane, Tidus, Firion, Y’shtola, or Jake. Players can also utilize the Sylph Tiara accessory to grant Wind affinity to non-elemental attacks.
During the battle, players are advised to use support spells and defensive summons like Siren or Carbuncle via Fina. Upon victory, players receive a Magicite, and Titan becomes a usable summon for Fina in future combat.
