Level Infinite recently hosted a special broadcast for the 4th anniversary of Victory Goddess: Nikke, detailing upcoming content including new characters, story events, and system improvements. The update centers on the third surface reclamation operation, marking a climactic confrontation between humanity and the Raptures.
The update introduces new playable characters Marian: Queen and Scarlet: Black Shadow, while Rapunzel: Sanctuary is provided as a commemorative reward. Character Art Team Leader Joo Ho-young noted that Marian: Queen was designed to embody a powerful, queen-like presence, while Scarlet’s design emphasizes a distinct contrast between her armored and agile forms.
Scenario Director Jung Jae-sung stated that this event concludes the main story arc regarding the Ark. The development team focused on providing a satisfying resolution to long-standing narratives while ensuring the game continues beyond this final battle. Sound Director Joo Jong-hyun added that the music for the main story aims to provide strength, whereas the Marian event story utilizes cinematic, mysterious soundscapes.
Players can access up to 230 recruitment opportunities and four copies of Rapunzel: Sanctuary. Additional updates include the Syncro Boost system, improved returnee events, and expanded lobby customization. The event also features a dedicated map for Marian’s story and a special wedding costume, Last Affection.
