PlayStation Asia prematurely revealed details regarding the upcoming STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl update, titled The Zone Lookout. The information appeared in an accidental post on X, which incorrectly claimed the version 2.1 patch was already available for all platforms.
The update focuses on enhancing the A-Life system, specifically increasing the spawn distance for NPCs and creatures. This adjustment addresses common player feedback regarding character visibility, which previously felt limited even when using binoculars.
Beyond system improvements, the patch introduces modifications to combat mechanics and weapon ballistics. Furthermore, players will gain the ability to utilize fast travel through squad leaders, a feature intended to streamline navigation across the game's expansive map.
